General Terms and Conditions
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all our services as well as to all orders placed and contracts concluded via the online shop or via employees of BIK AG (hereinafter referred to as “BIK”) (hereinafter referred to as the “Order”).
BIK reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions. The version in force at the time the order is placed shall apply in each case; it cannot be amended unilaterally in respect of that order.
2. Offer
The offer is addressed to private customers resident in, and corporate customers domiciled in, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France and Italy. Deliveries are made only to addresses in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France and Italy.
The offer applies for as long as it is displayed in the online shop and/or while stocks last. Changes to prices and to the product range are possible at any time. The images shown in advertising, brochures, the online shop and similar, as well as all product details, serve as illustration only and are not binding.
3. Collection and use of customer data
BIK collects and processes the personal data of its customers within the scope of the statutory provisions.
The data collected is used internally in order to contact our customers and to provide information about products and services.
The data is processed exclusively for the purposes stated above and is not passed on to third parties unless this is necessary for the performance of a contract or required by law.
By accepting these General Terms and Conditions, the customer consents to the collection and use of their personal data in accordance with these provisions.
The customer has the right to withdraw consent to the use of their data at any time. In that event BIK will delete the data concerned without delay, provided that no statutory retention obligations exist and that the key finder tag(s) has/have been returned to BIK by the user/customer.
4. Data protection
BIK undertakes to treat its customers’ personal data confidentially and to take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect that data.
BIK draws customers’ attention to the limitations of the internet and of telephony and to the risks associated with their use. In particular, BIK accepts no liability for spamming, hacking, the transmission of viruses or other attempts to intrude into computers and other end devices used, or for any damage caused thereby. BIK declines all liability for damage arising from a temporary or permanent interruption of, or delay to, the services or the network, such as the loss of business or private data, the unavailability of data and the like. No warranty can be given for the permanent and fault-free operation of the mobile telephone network. No guarantee can be given as to the completeness, accuracy or currency of the data relating to the services claimed via this application or to their performance. Use of this service is at the user’s own risk. Any liability for damage of any kind (for example claims arising from direct or indirect, or material or immaterial, damage or from compensation/damages) resulting from the use of this service or otherwise from technical faults is excluded.
5. Price
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs, including value added tax (VAT).
The price shown in the online shop at the time the order is placed shall apply.
The invoiced amount is payable within 14 days of receipt of the goods
Our reminder fees amount to 5 CHF for the 1st reminder, 10 CHF for the 2nd reminder and 15 CHF for the 3rd reminder. In addition, a processing fee of 30 CHF is charged for referral to debt collection.
6. Orders
The presentation of the products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but a non-binding online catalogue, that is, a non-binding invitation to customers to order the product in the online shop. BIK reserves the right to limit delivery quantities and not to carry out the delivery where an order is exceptionally large.
By placing the order in the online shop, or by confirming the order by telephone or in person with BIK, the customer concludes a binding contract of sale.
When ordering in the online shop, the total value of the shopping basket may not exceed CHF 2‘000.– (payment by credit card) or CHF 700.- (payment by payment slip).
After the order has been submitted, the customer automatically receives an acknowledgement of receipt documenting that the order has reached BIK. Customers may add to or cancel an order only until it is processed in our logistics centres.
7. Delivery / right of withdrawal
Delivery costs for Switzerland and Liechtenstein:
free of charge from Fr. 100.- upwards; below Fr. 100.-, a charge of Fr. 2.- per order applies.
Delivery costs for Germany, Austria, Italy and France:
a flat rate of Fr 4.- per order.
Where the value of the contractual performance does not exceed CHF 100.00, there is no right of withdrawal / right of return. For economic reasons, no correspondence or telephone communication will be entered into in such cases.
Orders above CHF 100.00 may be returned within 14 days. Returns made after this period incur handling and packaging fees amounting to 25 CHF per key tag and 10 CHF per reminder issued.
8. Payment methods
Payments must be made in Swiss francs.
Purchase on invoice
Orders within Switzerland and Liechtenstein can be placed on invoice. A payment slip is enclosed with the order and must be settled within 30 days.
Before the order is dispatched, BIK carries out a credit check, since BIK’s advance performance entails a risk of default. BIK may exclude purchase on invoice as a payment method without stating reasons. For purchase on invoice, customers must be resident or domiciled in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.
In the event of late payment, BIK reserves the right to charge reminder fees and default interest. All expenses incurred in connection with the collection of overdue receivables shall be borne by the customer. Where reminders are unsuccessful, the invoiced amounts may be assigned to a company instructed with debt collection. The company instructed with debt collection will assert the outstanding amounts in its own name and for its own account and may charge additional processing fees and default interest from the due date.
Electronic means of payment
The order can be paid for using the electronic means of payment made available on the website.
Refunds, credit notes, credit balances
Where customers are entitled to refunds or other credits, these are reimbursed to the customer or, where available, credited to the customer account.
Current subscriptions are not refunded.
BIK vouchers may under no circumstances be sold or auctioned. Only one voucher may be used per order.
9. Conclusion of contract
A contract is concluded by placing the order in the online shop, or by confirming the order by telephone or in person with BIK. Should the order not be capable of being fulfilled, the customer will receive notification by email.

This amount must be settled in cash on site when the key is collected, and before the key is handed over. An official identity document made out in the name of the person named in the BIK service subscription must be presented for this purpose.
Return of keys with renewal of the subscription
