Terms of Service

The general terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as “GTC”) apply to all orders and contracts concluded via the BIK-AG online shop (hereinafter referred to as “BIK”) (hereinafter referred to as “order”).
BIK reserves the right to change the terms and conditions. The version of the General Terms and Conditions applicable at the time of the order is decisive and cannot be unilaterally changed for this order.

The offer is aimed at natural customers with residence or legal clients based in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France and Italy. Deliveries are only made to addresses in Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Germany, Austria, France and Italy.
The offer is valid as long as it can be seen in the online shop and / or stocks last. Price and range changes are possible at any time. The images shown in advertising, brochures, in the online shop, etc., as well as all information on the products are used for illustration and are non-binding.

The prices are in Swiss Francs, including value added tax (VAT).
The price in the online shop at the time of the order is decisive.

The presentation of the products in the online shop is not a legally binding application, but a non-binding online catalog or a non-binding invitation to customers to order the product in the online shop. BIK reserves the right to restrict the delivery quantities and not to execute the delivery if the order is unusually large.
An order is considered an offer to BIK to conclude a contract.
For the first order, the total amount of the shopping cart must not exceed CHF 2,000 (payment by credit card) or CHF 700 (payment by payment slip).
After submitting the order, customers automatically receive a confirmation of receipt, which documents that the order has been received by BIK. Customers can only add to or cancel the order until it is processed in our logistics centers.
BIK is free to refuse orders in whole or in part without giving reasons. In this case, the customer will be informed and any payments already made will be refunded. Further claims are excluded; in particular, the non-deliverable products will not be forwarded.

Delivery costs for Switzerland and Lichtenstein
from CHF 100.- free of charge, below CHF 100.- CHF 2.- per order.

Delivery costs for Germany, Austria. Italy and France
flat rate Fr 4.- per order.

Payments must be made in Swiss Francs.

Purchase on invoice:

  • Orders in Switzerland and Lichtenstein can be made on account. The order is accompanied by a payment slip which must be paid within 30 days.
  • Before delivering the order, BIK carries out a credit check, as the advance payment by BIK is associated with a risk of default. BIK can exclude the payment option purchase on account without giving reasons. When buying on account, customers must have their place of residence or Are based in Switzerland or Liechtenstein.
  • In the event of default in payment, BIK reserves the right to charge reminder fees and default interest. All expenses incurred in connection with the collection of overdue claims are borne by the customer. In the event of unsuccessful reminders, the invoice amounts can be assigned to a company commissioned with the collection. The company entrusted with the collection will assert the outstanding amounts in its own name and for its own account and can charge additional processing fees and default interest from the due date.

Electronic means of payment:

  • the order can be placed using the electrical payment methods made available on the website.

Refunds, Credits, Credits

If the customer is entitled to a refund or other credit, these will be refunded to the customer or, if available, credited to the customer’s account.
BIK vouchers cannot be sold or auctioned under any circumstances. Only one voucher can be used per order.

A contract is concluded when BIK processes the order. If the order cannot be carried out, the customer will receive a notification by email.

Services

All costs of the services are included in the purchase price

Included in the BIK services are:

  1. All key returns as soon as they arrive at BiK
  2. For security reasons, returns are made by registered mail
  3. All address changes
  4. Free replacement of the trailer if it is lost or if it becomes illegible
  5. The trailer can be transferred to another person for free

warranty

  1. The personal code number is top secret
  2. Bik guarantees you full data protection
  3. The service is guaranteed for the entire term, since even in the event of the BiK being dissolved (since 1982), the services are guaranteed to the customer by the Swiss Association of Key Funds (SSFV)

Substantive Swiss law is applicable to the legal relationship between BIK and customers, excluding conflict of law norms and the Vienna Sales Convention.
The place of jurisdiction for natural persons and legal entities is Bern.
